Actual problems of consumer’s rights protection in Kazakhstan

Abstract

In the article on the basis of the analysis of the current legislation norms of the Republic of Kazakhstan on  consumers protection and law enforcement practices the problems in the implementation of consumers’ rights  and the restoration of violated rights are identified. The purpose of the research is to study the legal  mechanism of consumers protection and the proposal of ways to improve its effectiveness. The author  identifies five main problems, analyzes each of them in detail, points out ways to solve them. On the basis of  the analysis of the norms of legislation, the obstacles to the exercise of the right to judicial protection and the  restoration of the violated rights of consumers are indicated. Scientific novelty is to conduct a comprehensive  study of the theoretical and practical problems of consumers protection in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The  development of proposals aimed at improving the laws of consumers protection. The conclusions and  suggestions received as a result of the research can be used in the future when carrying out research work on  the problems of improving the effectiveness of national legislation, governing consumers protection relations,  and the obtained results can be used to improve law-making and law-enforcement practice.
